And the reviews are in
Whilst flipping through the numerous pages of the internet a couple of weeks ago, I happened upon The Weblog Review - a site which, as it's title may offer an inking, is geared towards reviewing Weblogs. I shouldn't really care what other people think of my blog, but I will confess to an idle sort of curiosity - one which eventually won me over, hence I submitted my blog for review.
It was certainly an enlightening experience to discover how I've been presenting myself, especially to those who don't know me personally. That one reviewer took a radically differing viewpoint from the others (and probably from myself) I view as a sign that I must be doing something right. I'm not going to pass judgement on the reviews, since they simply reflect other peoples opinions and are hence neither right nor wrong, but feel free to consider them yourselves.

Yeah... you're "not too positive review", I wouldn't take too seriously - considering it was written by someone who writes the drivel over at
www.colleensden.com
I have personally bookmarked you. Fantastic site.
Interesting remarks.
As I may have commented before, your writing style does benefit a little from knowing you personally. I think it helps catch the irony and subtle humour. Of course I don't think you should change anything. Those who read regularly ought to pick up on it over time and, by way of it, learn far more about you than you should be comfortable with ;-)
That being said... the remark "with very little design to the page" still baffles me. Six (fairly different) formats to choose from, all of which are clear and easy to read, strike me as rather a lot of design to the page.
Maybe you're just too subtle all round :-)
If the first review was by the same peep's that throw together colleens den I'm surprised that they think this place is dull, and has very little design. Not wanting to claim to be a web whiz by any means, but at least this place reads well with a mobile, something that other sites would struggle to do given their very basic coding (just watch the front page jump around as it loads :-( ). And if that means it's boring, so be it, but I like reading things on the move, and this place can be moved ;-)
I'll await a review of our site, and see what's said there :-D
