A bad spell

It's been pointed to me once or twice or more by a certain nameless someone (you know who you are ;) that I can't spell for toffee. That is of course completely untrue. I can spell for toffee, it's just that no one has tried to bribe me with the stuff yet. Anyway, said comments inspired me to run off and hunt down a new toy to play with - w.bloggar. It's a rather neat little blogging application which amongst it's many and varied features incorporates a spell checker. It's Windows only I'm afraid, although I'm sure the small but friendly coterie of Mac users who number amongst my small but friendly readership will be delighted to suggest an alternative.

You can rest assured that any spelling mistakess from here on in are purely there to annoy you ;)

Small but friendly Mac users could experiment with NetNewsWire Pro, EspressoBlog or KungLog. All of these use the standard text editing object, so all get the system-wide red wavy underline spellchecker & dictionary. Or just edit your blog in Safari, which will do the same thing with the forms.

Big gnarly Mac users have, of course, already recorded their own XML-RPC AppleScript posting routines and attached them as folder actions, so all they have to do is save a file from their favourite editor into a specific folder, and 'blam!' it's posted.

Hmm... actually, does anybody do that? Why not?

Erm - don't know if any of you out there have heard of this one but there's a rather spiffy invention for checking spelling of which I've heard ... called a 'dictionary' or something like that.
